Perfect forecast!

The forecast looks perfect! No changes in next days I hope! So the competition will start as scheduled with the registration on Tuesday (march 18), from 5 pm!

The Aeros Winter Race 2014 will start on march 18th!

There is a change about the race start time. Aeros asked to move the competition start on the SECOND set of dates, so the registration will start on Tuesday, march 18! The main reason is pre-worlds in Mexico and lack of time for some pilots who fly there, to come to Slovenia in realy shor time between the comps.

I apologise for the confusion on behalf of Aeros and the organisation team.

THE RACE IS ON!

The decision was hard as usual - but it is accepted! We will start with the competition on the first set of dates, the registration will start on Tuesday, march 11!

Information about competition start

The information about the competition dates will be published on Thursday, march 6th. We are aiming on the first set of dates (11th - 16th march), but the weather has it's own mind - so let's wait...

Filled up - waiting to 10 invitees

There is few weeks  since all 50 pilots confirmed competing at Aeros Winter Race 2014. AEROS is selecting 10 more pilots who will get their invitation to the race - happy invitees will get mail within this week...

Registration is (allmost) full

There are only two spots left for Aeros Winter Race 2014. It seems we will have "full house" again this year with 50+ pilots atending. Right now we have 48 registerd pilots who have confirmed their attendance by paying 30 eur deposit, so only two are left - if you want to secure you spot in the comp, hurry up!
However, there are still invitations by Aeros waiting; Aeros normaly sends up to 10 special invitations to carefully selected pilots...
At present time we are haveing an unusual warm winter, so the thermals have time to practice and improve them selfs for the pilots, till the competiton starts.

Here we go again - 5th edition

The Aeros Winter Race 2014 website is prepared - and registration is open already. So we are all looking forward to meet top european pilots again in march 2014.
There are some changes that we introduced to the registration and confirmation of participation procedures. Pilot is obliged, in order to confirm his/her participation, to pay part of the entry fee (30 eur) at the registration - so we will not send any confirmation mails prior the competition. This change will make registration much more straitforward - and, what is the most important, pilots will now know immediately whether they are on list or not - this is especially important with late registrations.
